MEETING MINUTES 9/13/09 1. Introductions 2. Meeting Dates a. Sun, Nov. 8th, 6:00pm PMHS Library – End of Season meeting 3. Season Updtes a. Games/Schedules i. U6 teams – called surrounding towns to late to schedule games. Call earlier next year. b. Equipment i. Shirts and balls for U6/U8 teams are suppose to be in on Monday. Rick will call. c. Website i. Coaches please keep game schedule up to date. 4. Picture Forms a. Please take what you need for your teams. 5. NHSA Forms a. Database ready to email just need a few coaches’ registrations. 6. Yankee candle a. Due Date is 9/18 b. If parents do not want to sell suggest a donation to the soccer club instead. 7. Youth Soccer Camp a. Put on by the JV and Varsity teams. i. Saturday, September 19th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Drake’s Field ii. All Levels, All Ages, All Teams iii. JV and Varsity team members will teach and instruct the kids. b. If you are able please bring some of your balls with you to help with this event. 8. Coaches Soccer Clinic a. Scheduled for 3:00pm to 4:30pm at Drake’s Field Right after the Youth Soccer Camp. 9. Youth Soccer Day a. Saturday, September 26th at Drake’s Field i. All teams will play at Drake’s Field that day b. Bouncy House i. We will not charge for the kids to use the bouncy house. c. Signs i. Pittsfield Police Association has donated money to us to get a sign for the day. ii. Rick will contact Diamond Signs to get this done. d. Apple View i. They will donate 2 bushels of apples for the day. ii. Any child in uniform will be able to get free apples e. Dunk tank i. The Boy Scouts have donated their dunk tank for our use. ii. Any one that can sign up to be dunk please call rick f. DJ i. Big Dog Entertainment has donated their services for the day. g. Multiplex i. Will have a trailer and have raffles, give aways and merchandise. h. Concessions i. Water Gatorade, soda ii. Coffee and muffins in the morning iii. Baked goods, hamburgers and hot dogs i. Work Schedules i. Set-up will begin at 7:30am for an 8:15am opening. ii. Any adults that are able to cook please volunteer. j. SVS Article i. Rick will email to Mr. Morse k. Signs i. Norm will be helping with the signs for around town. l. Misc….. i. The DJ will need a sponsor sheet. 10. Tournaments a. We are sponsoring the U12 Boys Tournament b. U10 Tournaments TBA

Game Fields – U10 & U12 will use Drakes Field – We must remind everyone that we are the guests and that the high school teams have first choice at all times – coaches need to make this clear to all our parents! U8 & U6 will use the Common B. Practice Fields – We will do the same as last year – U10 & U12 1 practice at Drakes & 1 at Wolfes, U8 & U6 will practice at the Common VI. Youth Soccer Day A. Sat. Sept. 26th at Drakes Field – All teams will play at Drakes that day – We need to make up a list of things we need and Rob Rojek will see if he can get it for us. B. Will need a lot of volunteers for the day – Referees, concession, etc… VII. Coaching Courses A. G License Course : 7/25 9:00am – 12:00noon Northwood B. U6/U8 Youth Modules: 8/30 9:00am – 3:00pm Dover C. U10/U12 Youth Modules: 8/23 9:00am – 3:00pm Dover D. For all classes available go to www.soccernh.org VIII. Fundraiser – Yankee Candles A. Will hand out all paperwork and materials at 8/9 coaches meeting B. This is a great fundraiser that the sellers get 45% of each sale C. Teams will keep 50% of profits to purchase anything that want – sweatshirts, t-shirts, bags, etc… 50% of profits will go directly to the club D. Team that raises the most money will get a Pizza Party E. We need to do this as sponsors in this economy are few and far between F. Other Business – Sunday Evening Soccer – Rick will put an article in the Sun
